Law360, New York (March 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- European environmental ministers are likely to reject a proposal that would institute noxious emissions caps for industries including steel, chemical and processed food plants, a European Union insider has reportedly said.
A diplomat privy to the proceedings said the chances of the proposal being enacted were slim, noting that only Germany and Austria currently support the measure, according to Euractiv, a news service for the European Union.
