EPA, Construction Co. Settle Over NY Superfund Site

Law360, New York (April 01, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has filed a consent decree with a construction company to recover costs related to the million-dollar cleanup of a Stillwater, N.Y., Superfund site.

The EPA on Friday filed a suit against Laquidara Construction Inc. and the company's owner, Peter Laquidara, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
