   PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Plaintiff's Unopposed Motion to Stay Case Pending Completion of Plaintiff's Medical Treatment, or in the Alternative, to Extend all Deadlines by Six Months. 22 . Therein, Plaintiff requests that this case be stayed because he is continuing to undergo active medical treatment for his serious injuries suffered while on Defendant's vessel, and he "has not reached maximum medical improvement." Id. at 1. Plaintiff states that his medical condition has not stabilized, so it "would be premature to retain medical experts to evaluate his injuries, assess his prognosis, determine the full extent of his damages, and prepare expert reports[.]" Id. at 2. Plaintiff notes that he will submit status reports to the Court so that it can adequately monitor this matter. Id. at 3.
   
   The district court has broad discretion to stay proceedings as an incident to its power to control its own docket." Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, B.V. v. Consorcio Barr S.A., 377 F.3d 1164, 1172 n.7 (11th Cir. 2004) (quoting Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681, 706 (1997)). The length of the requested stay will not be indefinite or immoderate. See Ortega Trujillo v. Conover & Co. Commc'ns, 221 F.3d 1262, 1264 (11th Cir. 2000). The moving party bears the burden of showing good cause and reasonableness for staying proceedings. Feldman v. Flood, 176 F.R.D. 651, 652 (M.D. Fla. 1997) (citing Howard v. Galesi, 107 F.R.D. 348, 350 (S.D.N.Y. 1985)). Here, the Court finds that Plaintiff hase shown good cause to warrant granting a stay in this case.
   
   Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Unopposed Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise advised of the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Plaintiff's Motion 22 is GRANTED. The case is hereby STAYED. The Clerk of Court is ORDERED to ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSE this case. The Parties shall submit joint status reports every ninety (90) days, where they must provide an update as to Plaintiff's condition, inform the Court as to if they agree that the case should remain stayed and explain why, and provide any other information regarding the case that is relevant.
