MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: (1.) On review of the status report, R. 398, the following interim deadlines are set leading up to the 11/03/2026 deadline for the joint proposed pretrial and other pretrial filings. The point of interim deadlines is to facilitate the back-and-forth conferral that is needed for the filing of the joint proposed pretrial order and the other pretrial filings (e.g., exhibit charts). (A.) The parties shall provide to one another their respective proposed stipulations to the other side by 10/21/2026. The parties shall respond to the proposals by 10/28/2026. (B.) The parties shall provide to one another their exhibits and exhibit charts by 10/14/2026. The parties shall provide their respective responses by 10/21/2026. The parties shall provide all required digital courtesy copies, including exhibits, using Box.com (the link will be emailed to the parties). (C.) Deposition designations are due BY 10/14/2026. Objections and counter-designations are due 10/21/2026. (D.) The parties shall confer on motions in limine and proposed jury instructions by 10/14/2026. (E.) The Proposed Pretrial Order, proposed jury instructions, proposed verdict form, and proposed voir dire remain due by 11/03/2026. (2.) Jury trial set for 01/11/2027 remains in place.
