Scheduling Order
THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon the Parties' Proposed Amended Order Setting Civil Trial Date and Pretrial Deadlines. 32 . The Court previously directed the Parties to file a joint scheduling report in light of the case's reopening. See (ECF No. 31). The Court will not extend any deadlines that had already passed prior to this case being stayed as there is no showing of good cause as to warrant such extensions. The Court will also not newly impose any deadlines not previously imposed in its Paperless Order Scheduling Trial in Miami (ECF No. 16), although the Parties are free to agree upon any other deadlines privately. UPON CONSIDERATION of the Proposed Amended Order, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, the following scheduling order is hereby entered. This case is now set for trial commencing the two-week trial period of December 14, 2026, at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 13-1, (thirteenth floor) United States Courthouse, 400 North Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida. All parties are directed to report to the calendar call on December 10, 2026, at 2 p.m., at which time all matters relating to the scheduled trial date may be brought to the attention of the Court. A final pretrial conference as provided for by Rule 16, Fed. R. Civ. P., and Rule 16.1(C), S.D. Fla. L.R., is scheduled for December 1, 2026, at 11 a.m. The deadline to file motions to amend the pleadings or to join additional parties has passed. All other provisions of the Paperless Order Scheduling Trial in Miami (ECF No. 16) and Paperless Order of Referral to Mediation (ECF No. 17) shall remain in force, to be calculated based off of the new trial date set herein. Should specific deadlines need to be extended, the Parties shall move for such extensions and show good cause for the same. Signed by Judge K. Michael Moore on 7/2/2026. (ss01)
