Law360, New York (December 07, 2010, 1:07 PM ET) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is looking to bring Patton Boggs LLP on board to help NJ Transit fight a Federal Transit Administration bill for $271 million in connection with a multibillion-dollar Hudson River tunnel project scrapped by the governor earlier this year.
Christie announced Thursday that he had approved NJT's retention of Patton Boggs following a rigorous competitive process and evaluation of the costs and merits of multiple law firms undertaken by the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety.
