Law360, New York (July 08, 2011, 8:45 PM ET) -- Sandoz Inc. and other pharmaceutical companies on Friday settled part of a Massachusetts multidistrict litigation alleging the defendants caused the federal government to overpay for Medicaid reimbursements by reporting inflated drug values.
U.S. District Judge Patti B. Saris signed off on the Sandoz agreement as well as settlements involving Mylan Inc., Schein Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc., all of which put an end to litigation brought by Ven-A-Care of the Florida Keys Inc. as a relator for the federal government.
