Contested IT Contract Needs New OCI Review: Judge

Law360, New York (August 02, 2011, 6:22 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Monday blocked the U.S. Department of Defense from awarding an information technology contract at the core of a dispute between Jacobs Technology Inc. and IBM Global Business Services until it completed an analysis of organizational conflicts of interest.

Jacobs filed suit against the U.S. in March seeking to prevent the U.S. Special Operations Command from pulling its award of an information technology service management contract based on IBM’s successful bid protest before the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
