OMB Reported Savings Based On Incomplete Data: GAO

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 6:50 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday took the White House Office of Management and Budget to task for trumpeting agencies' contract spending cuts without complete information about the extent to which those cuts could be credited to OMB's savings initiative.
