Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 7:09 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office said Friday that the U.S. Army needed to step up its oversight of contracts at Arlington National Cemetery, though management there had improved since a controversy over unmarked and mismarked graves.
The Army National Cemeteries Program does not keep complete data on its contracts for the cemetery, has not fully defined partners' responsibilities for contract support, and has not yet filled its need for an additional senior contracting specialist, according to a GAO report.
