Judge Ejects Triad Suit Over Air Force Insourcing

Law360, New York (March 01, 2012, 3:02 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed defense contractor Triad Logistics Services Corp.’s suit against the U.S. Air Force over the termination of its contract when the Air Force decided to do the work on its own, saying Triad lacked standing.

U.S. Court of Federal Claims Judge Marian Blank Horn said Triad is not an “interested party” under the Tucker Act, which governs which claims the court can hear, and therefore does not possess standing to sue.
