Gibson Dunn Snags Gov't Contracts Ace From Lockheed

Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 1:36 PM ET) -- Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP has snagged a former Lockheed Martin Corp. corporate counsel and U.S. Air Force chief trial attorney to join its government contracts team, the firm said Wednesday.

Neil Whiteman, who has served as corporate counsel for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co. since June 2009, will join Gibson Dunn’s Washington office as of counsel, where he will focus on bid protests, contract claims and disputes, source-selection competitions, alternate dispute resolution and cost accounting standards.
