Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 9:17 PM ET) -- A former Federal Emergency Management Agency employee pled guilty Wednesday to improperly helping 3-D Disaster Services Inc. win a $100 million trailer-maintenance contract after Hurricane Katrina in exchange for a job offer and percentage stake in the contract.
Former FEMA accounting property officer Robert Blevins, 75, of Fort Pierce, Fla., admitted to violating federal employee conflict of interest rules and could face up to a year in prison, a $100,000 fine and a year of supervised release, when he's sentenced on Aug. 1, federal prosecutors said....
