Judge Cuts Claims From FCA Case Over Asian Tech Imports

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 7:18 PM ET) -- A Washington federal judge whittled claims Thursday against the two remaining defendants in a whistleblower False Claims Act suit filed by a technology products selling agent alleging Government Acquisitions Inc. and Govplace sold tech products made in Asia to the U.S. government.

U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth partially dismissed two of four FCA claims against Government Acquisitions and Govplace, saying qui tam plaintiff Brady Folliard failed to connect allegations of improper product listings to allegations of improper sales.
