Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 6:54 PM ET) -- New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Wednesday put out regulations to rein in spending by state contractors and place a $199,000 cap on executive salaries.
The proposals released by 13 state agencies would put into place an executive order Cuomo issued in January. The governor's order was meant to cut down on excessive salaries and wasteful administrative spending at organizations that provide services through the use of state funds or through state-overseen payouts of federal funds.
