Petrobras, W&T, Others Face FCA Suit Over Waste Dumping

Law360, New York (June 07, 2012, 5:15 PM ET) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Wednesday unsealed a False Claims Act whistleblower suit accusing W&T Offshore Inc., Petrobras America Inc. and two other oil companies of violating government contracts by illegally dumping hazardous waste into the Gulf of Mexico.
