Law360, New York (June 15, 2012, 12:39 PM ET) -- On May 22, 2012, the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Acquisition Regulations Council issued an interim rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement the Defense Trade Cooperation Treaty between the United States and the United Kingdom.
The interim rule, set forth at DFARS Subpart 225.79, establishes procedures intended to “facilitate maximum use” of the treaty by prospective contractors.
