Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 2:49 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied XTec Inc.'s protest of a contract awarded to Secure Mission Solutions LLC to update security systems at the White House and Vice President's residence, according to a decision made public Thursday.
The GAO rejected XTec's argument that the U.S. Secret Service erroneously and unreasonably evaluated its proposal when it determined that the company's design and technical approach was unsatisfactory because it would house parts of the security system outside the Washington metropolitan area, violating the bid's conditions.
