Law360, New York (July 05, 2012, 8:54 PM ET) -- The U.S. Small Business Administration said Tuesday that agencies failed to meet governmentwide small business contracting goals for the sixth straight year, with small businesses' share of contracts shrinking slightly in 2011.
In its official small business contracting scorecard for 2011, the SBA said that agencies awarded $91.5 billion in small business contracts in 2011. That total represents 21.65 percent of the total, which is a slight drop from the previous three years' average of 22.07 percent, and below the federal goal of 23 percent....
