Law360, New York (July 06, 2012, 6:02 PM ET) -- Bipartisan leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee sent letters to three major Medicare fraud contractors on Friday, demanding to know more about how much fraud they unearth and how much money their investigations recover.
The letters are part of the committee's ongoing investigation of program integrity contractors, who are paid to ferret out fraudulent claims and overpayments paid by Medicare.
