Pa. AG Sues Ryco Over Use Of Foreign Steel In Public Projects

Law360, New York (August 03, 2012, 4:07 PM ET) -- Pennsylvania's attorney general slapped Ryco Inc. with a lawsuit Thursday alleging the Allegheny County construction company violated state antitrust law by using cheaper, foreign steel products in public works projects to gain an advantage over its competitors.

According to a statement issued by Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly, Ryco, along with several of its subsidiaries, failed to comply with the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, a state law requiring steel products used in publicly funded construction project be purchased in the U.S. Kelly’s office filed suit...
