Cuomo Asks Feds For $2.9B Loan To Replace Tappan Zee

Andrew Cuomo and the state Thruway Authority have asked the federal government for a loan of up to $2.9 billion to help fund a $5 billion plan to replace the Tappan Zee Bridge, according to information made public Friday, after lawmakers voted to make the project eligible for federal money once again.
