Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 7:43 PM ET) -- A New Jersey Senate panel approved legislation Thursday that would permanently disqualify contractors that defraud the government from bidding on public contracts.
The bill, sponsored by state Sen. Shirley K. Turner, D-Mercer, cleared the Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism & Historic Preservation Committee in a unanimous vote without any opposition from the public.
