Northrop, Others Duck Product Claims In Asbestos MDL

Law360, Philadelphia (October 04, 2012, 4:17 PM ET) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Wednesday that a Navy ship is not a “product” under maritime law, dismissing product liability claims in a multidistrict litigation case over asbestos exposure against Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, Todd Pacific Shipyards Corp. and General Dynamics Corp.
