GAO Denies SAIC Protest In $700M Lockheed Contract Row

Law360, New York (October 16, 2012, 3:50 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has dismissed a Science Applications International Corp. bid protest challenging the award of a $700 million Department of Defense grant to rival Lockheed Martin Corp., saying the agency properly investigated Lockheed’s risk profile and alleged conflict of interest.
