Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 5:05 PM ET) -- Hospitals and drugmakers will continue to face a tough enforcement climate no matter who is in the White House next year, but experts say Mitt Romney's broad promises to loosen regulation could mean he'd be open to a few industry demands, such as reining in overly zealous Medicare fraud contractors.
Industry attorneys agree that enforcement, both for health care providers under Medicare and drug and device companies under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, has been tough in recent years.
