Supreme Wins Protest Of $10B Military Food Contract

Law360, New York (October 25, 2012, 3:33 PM ET) -- The federal government wrongly denied a Supreme Group BV unit's bid for a $10 billion contract to distribute food to troops in Afghanistan, the U.S. Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Wednesday, granting the company's protest.

The GAO sustained Switzerland-based Supreme Foodservice GmbH's protest and said the Defense Logistics Agency should reconsider its decision to award the nearly six-year contract to Dubai-based Anham FZCO.
