Law360, New York (November 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Medical device maker AtriCure Inc. is being probed by the U.S. Department of Justice over marketing practices related to the company’s surgical ablation devices.
The West Chester, Ohio-based AtriCure said Friday it had received a letter on Oct. 27 informing the company that the DOJ’s Civil Division was conducting an investigation for potential False Claims Act and common law violations.
