Law360, New York (March 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is taking a closer look at Medtronic Inc.'s marketing practices, reimbursement counsel and therapy delivery concerning its yet-to-be-approved medical tools aimed at controlling irregular heartbeats.
On Wednesday, Medtronic indicated in a regulatory filing that the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas had been investigating the company since Feb. 9 regarding various aspects of its cardiac ablation therapy.
