Fed. Circ. Upholds AstraZeneca's Seroquel Patent Win

Law360, New York (September 25, 2009, 3:15 PM ET) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has upheld a lower court's ruling that AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP did not engage in inequitable conduct when seeking a patent for its antipsychotic drug Seroquel, rejecting a challenge by generics makers Sandoz Inc. and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
