Sun Retreats From Alzheimer Drug Battle

Law360, New York (October 16, 2009, 2:42 PM ET) -- Sun India Pharmaceuticals Inc. has backed off from marketing generic tablets of the lucrative Alzheimer's drug Namenda, becoming the latest manufacturer to surrender to Forest Laboratories Inc. in an ongoing patent battle.

On Thursday U.S. District Judge Gregory M. Sleet of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware signed off on a stipulation and order that essentially resolves the action between Sun and Forest.
