Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 1:25 PM ET) -- Australia’s Genetic Technologies Ltd. has accused several rival laboratories and two major biotech companies — Monsanto Inc. and Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. — of infringing a patent for noncoding DNA technologies.
According to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, each of the defendants has willfully infringed the patent and owes the plaintiff royalties and other damages.
