AstraZeneca Escapes Liability In Pain Pump Suit

Law360, New York (March 03, 2010, 3:52 PM ET) -- A judge has found that AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP is not liable for cartilage damage sustained by a former high school athlete who underwent surgery and afterward used the drugmaker’s pain medication in an automated pump.
