Mylan, Takeda Bury Hatchet In Diabetes Drug Feud

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 2:45 PM ET) -- Mylan Inc. has resolved two patent infringement suits brought by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. over plans to market generic versions of diabetes drugs Actos and Actoplus Met.

Mylan said in a statement Tuesday that it had reached settlements with Takeda, bringing a close to litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. A representative for Takeda confirmed the deals, but declined to comment further.
