Law360, New York (April 07, 2010, 4:22 PM ET) -- Software provider Aware Inc. has become the latest defendant to settle a suit brought by Acacia Research Corp. unit Hospital Systems Corp. that accuses a number of technology companies of infringing two patents related to a system for storing and accessing medical images.
Aware and HSC lodged a joint motion to dismiss the claims and counterclaims between them with prejudice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday.
