Endo, Penwest Reach Opana License Deal With Barr

Law360, New York (April 13, 2010, 5:09 PM ET) -- Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Penwest Pharmaceuticals Co. said Tuesday they had agreed to a settlement in their patent infringement suit against Barr Laboratories Inc. over the production and sale of a generic version of painkiller Opana ER.

According to a letter posted in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the parties have reached an amicable settlement.
