Law360, New York (April 28, 2010, 5:51 PM ET) -- Sandoz Inc. has settled in Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.'s patent infringement litigation over the generics maker's effort to sell its own versions of diabetes treatments Actos and Actoplus Met, leaving only two defendants in Takeda's press to guard the blockbuster drugs.
Judge Denise L. Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said Tuesday that the parties had voluntarily dismissed their claims and counterclaims without prejudice and that each would bear its own fees and costs.
