Law360, New York (June 14, 2010, 12:04 PM ET) -- Medical technology developer ScImage Inc. has become the latest defendant to settle a suit brought by Acacia Research Corp. unit Hospital Systems Corp. accusing a number of technology companies of infringing two patents related to a system for storing and accessing medical images.
ScImage and HSC lodged a joint motion Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss all claims and counterclaims between them with prejudice.
