Law360, New York (February 22, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two companies that manufacture compact ultrasound systems are squaring off in a California court over a patent that covers a portable ultrasound unit weighing less than 10 pounds.
Bothell, Wa.-based SonoSite Inc. filed a patent infringement suit Wednesday against Mountain View, Ca.-based Zonare Medical Systems Inc., alleging that Zonare’s “z.one” ultrasound platform infringes a SonoSite patent.
