Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 4:17 PM ET) -- A federal judge has ruled that malpractice claims brought against Wolf Greenfield & Sacks PC in relation to the handling of RNA interference patent applications are time-barred, dealing a blow to the Max Planck Institute.
Judge Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts found Tuesday that there was an attorney-client relationship between the parties, but that the clock had run out on the malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims brought by Germany-based Max Planck.
