Law360, New York (October 07, 2010, 4:19 PM ET) -- Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. has resolved litigation against Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. over Watson's proposed generic version of the painkiller Opana ER, with Endo granting Watson a royalty-free license to U.S. patents covering the drug.
Under the terms of the settlement, Watson will have the right to launch its generic version on Sept. 15, 2012, or earlier under certain circumstances.
