Law360, New York (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter signed a measure Thursday that will purportedly protect health care workers against retaliation for disclosing patient-safety concerns.
The Health Care Worker Whistle-Blower Bill, as the legislation is called, makes it illegal for Colorado hospitals to fire nurses and other caregivers for reporting medical safety issues.
