Biolase Buries Hatchet In Securities Class Action

Law360, New York (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Biolase Technology Inc. said Friday it will pay $1.9 million to lay to rest a securities class action lawsuit alleging the dental laser company and its officers violated federal securities laws.

The company disclosed the deal in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday, stating that the settlement agreement has been executed and submitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California for preliminary approval and authorization to provide notice of its terms to class members.
