Law360, New York (February 01, 2011, 6:49 PM ET) -- A federal judge has refused to stay a dispute between Pfizer Inc. unit Wyeth and Abbott Laboratories over patents for drug-coated stents while the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office re-examines one of the patents involved.
Judge Joel A. Pisano of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Monday denied the motion by Abbot and co-defendant Boston Scientific Corp. to stay proceedings in the suit, which was filed against them by plaintiffs Wyeth and Cordis Corp.
