Law360, New York (May 29, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Japanese company Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. filed suit against generic drug maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Friday, claiming the Israeli company’s abbreviated new drug application infringes four patents for its acid reflex medication Prevacid.
Takeda filed the complaint along with its U.S. subsidiary, TAP Pharmaceutical Products Inc., and French company Ethypharm SA, the owner of one of the patents, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
