Law360, New York (December 05, 2011, 2:32 PM ET) -- Sanofi Aventis US LLC asked the Federal Circuit on Monday to overturn a win for generics maker Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Inc. in an infringement suit over allergy drug Allegra, arguing the lower court misinterpreted a key term.
In January, a New Jersey federal judge threw out a June 2010 preliminary injunction granted in Sanofi's infringement suit against the generics maker that had barred Dr. Reddy's from selling 24-hour fexofenadine hydrochloride/pseudoephedrine hydrochloride extended-release tablets in the U.S.
