Court Reopens Teva, Novartis Spat Over Herpes Drug

Law360, New York (July 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A U.S. District Court judge has revived Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.'s case challenging Novartis AG's patents for genital herpes drug Famvir.

Judge Jose L. Linares of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey reopened the case Friday following the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit's decision to vacate his dismissal of Teva's case.
