Law360, New York (August 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A unit of London-based medical device maker Smith & Nephew PLC has sued a rival orthopaedic device company over a button used to hold tissues in place for knee reconstruction surgery.
Andover, Mass.-based Smith & Nephew Inc. filed the patent infringement suit Tuesday in a Texas federal court against Arthrex Inc. for medical device patents covering anterior cruciate ligament, or ACL, repair.
