Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 5:34 PM ET) -- Democratic lawmakers Wednesday delivered a far-reaching information request to embattled debt collection firm Accretive Health Inc., suggesting government scrutiny of its medical billing practices may have only just begun.
The correspondence was sent in advance of a Friday congressional briefing inspired by the Minnesota attorney general’s expansive investigation into tactics allegedly designed to extract maximum cash from ailing patients.
