Law360, New York (May 15, 2012, 3:59 PM ET) -- Temple University in Philadelphia will pay more than $400,000 to settle allegations of health care fraud involving a convicted eye doctor and plastic surgeons on the campus payroll, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.
The deal stems in large part from a Medicare rip-off orchestrated by Dr. Joseph J. Kubacki, an ophthalmologist who was convicted in August on 150 counts of wire fraud, health care fraud and making false statements related to health care.
